Chef Ra
Chef Ra stands for food as medicine with the importance of using organic foods that support the regeneration of lands and nourishment of bodies. Using whole food ingredients to make beautiful and grounding meals. Currently serving as a private chef for transformational retreats, medicine ceremonies, business retreats, intentional gatherings, workshops, festivals and men & women’s circles.
My why for creating comes from nourishment and the passion to be nourished and nourish others. Food has become my art form in recent years.
Being able to serve myself allows me to serve from a full cup.
Getting to know farmers and where my food comes from is hugely important.
Food is medicine. Eating can create beautiful moments of connection.
Nourishment is using whole ingredients. Nourishment is the prayer infused into the food. Nourishment is the care of selecting high-quality ethically sourced animal ingredients.
I support regenerative, organic pastor, raised animal agriculture.
Local when possible. Seasonally prioritized foods.
Eating with the rhythms of the earth
The bison gives us strength to walk into the storm,
knowing that we will endure it and become strong stronger for it.
May we thrive in health, wealth, and abundance.
Chef Ra offers an embodied presence to the retreats he cooks for. What makes him different is that he has done the work (and still continues to), has attended many retreats, works with embodiment practices daily and leads his own retreats.
This gives a felt sense of belonging in the space and a welcoming to the nuances of the retreats. An understanding to what transformation is and can look like in these spaces.
